Comment by Juliet Malit on December 27, 2011 at 1:23pm Please Help! Devastation that cut across this once prosperous city (Philippines – Iligan City) greeted the day after the Filipino Christmas Season began. Typhoons in this part of the country are rare, but floods are not.
It was not expected…The lashing tore through the dead of the night when most of the city’s residents lulled by the winds and the cool air were asleep. The casualty count was over 500 dead and twice as many missing. This count would rise three-fold as the day unfolded.
Here is a video after a few days and found survivors drifting in the rivers….Please help!
JFM staffing is helping this small city in Mindanao, Philippines. If each one donates 5 pesos (equivalent to 11 cents) to the Red Cross we could raise 125 million for Sendong victims. Please donate! A little will go a long way.
How to donate.. http://www.redcross.org.ph/ or http://www.unicefusa.org/news/releases/unicef-responds-philippines-...
Or a $1.00 to JFM staffing Services Comapny – memo – for Iligan city for Typhoon Sendong victims.
