Where do you look first when you enter a home or business?

I can't help myself. After years of spotting flaws and repairing them, I look at the ceilings first. I catch myself making mental notes of what needs to be done to perfect them. I am not referring to one of my estimates for work, I do this at family and friends homes, and public places such as restaurants and dentist offices. Can't I leave my job at work? This was also a problem in my younger days, when one of my duties for Donaldson's department store was to change the burned out florescent bulbs once a week. Even ten years after I worked there, I could spot a dead bulb in a flash.

Is it a curse or blessing? Does anyone else bring their work-eyes into a personal venue without realizing it?

If you looked at your ceilings as you read this, did you spot something that I might see? I'd be glad to take a look, and give you a plan to make them perfect.
