Think of your business as a magnet.

An event can make your magnet even more powerful, irresistibly attracting the prospects and clients you want.  This is what well planned and executed events can do for your business!

An event is an easy way to:
1. Grow your business through qualified leads
2. Build relationships with your current clients
3. Promote your business

Let's look at these one by one.
1. Grow your business through qualified leads
With events, you can meet many prospects and clients at the same time. Whether you have a sales team or not, sharing your expertise and time with prospects and clients is one of the best ways to build your business.

When prospects come to your events, they're saying, "I'm interested in what you have to offer and would like to learn more." The same goes with your past and current clients who come to your events. This tightly targeted approach is much more feasible (and more profitable) than spending time with people who might be interested in what you have to offer.

2. Build relationships with your prospects & clients

New shoes - $50, cost of your event - $350

Building relationships with your prospects and clients at your event - priceless

It's no secret that people buy from who they know, like and trust.  At your events, your attendees can get to know more about you, like you and trust you. Each event can be the start of business relationships and/or can strengthen existing ones.

3. Promote your business
Through the marketing and public relations process that you use to promote your event, your business gets much needed exposure. That's why it's so important to have a very clear idea of who you would like to attend your event.

Your message needs to speak very clearly to your target invitee.  This results in exposure to who you would like to do business with.  Even if a prospect isn't able to attend your event this time, he/she will ensure they're there the next time.  This is what happens when your event marketing and PR speaks clearly to whom you want to target.
