Using Google Docs for Project Management

You don’t have to be connected at the same time, to be connected all the time, so you can do it any time! How? GoogleDocs: free tool to collaborate with online, and securely place documents on the cloud for controlled shared access. Ideal and essential solutions in working together, to get something with many components done, that’s project management! Simply tracking what everyone in a collaborating group or on a team does, in Excel, and putting it on GoogleDocs as an interactive GoogleDocs spreadsheet, has been a great way for me and a number of collaborating partners to stay on top of things, stay in touch, have any format of report we want done instantly and automatically, and have tracking graphs and dials! GoogleDocs gadgets include a handy, simple to use live ‘gauges’ tool. So I suggest trying it out if you haven't, and 'live together on the cloud' through GoogleDocs. Three key things to accomplish are: centralized project or process planning and tracking tool, customized for all that you need and only what you need, with real time dashboard awareness and linked instant automated printable and email-able reporting.
