Hello everyone! Especially the Artists out there in the area. Does the time of the year determine your motivation for creating new artwork? It does for me. I would like to share my moods with the seasons and artwork with you and would like to start with Fall since its that time of year now. This is the time of the year throughout to Spring that I am at my best with Artwork. I think its because there is so much going on like the Holidays.....and you're kinda stuck in the house alot because the days are shorter and the weather tends to be less desirable. I find myself spending more and more time at my drafting table trying to crank out the next awesome creation. At least that's what I am going for...Awesome. When the next season reaches 'Summer', I find myself outside soaking up the warm summer sun sitting in my lounge chair, having a glass of cool Chardonnay on the carport instead of 'drawing'. I watch my cat Sammy playfully swat at the beautiful butterflies or what ever attracts his fancy at the time. Now the leaves are beginning to fall and its a constant battle to keep my car and carport clean. My mind struggles to determine who's fantasy portrait I am going to do next. I love to do Marilyn Monroe's face so I need to find a new 'muse'. Since its Halloween, it may be Elvira's face. Who knows. Keep an eye out, you should see something coming soon. Winter keeps me at the drafting table quite a lot...instead of on the treadmill. Don't judge me. You do it too and you know who you are. Getting on the treadmill, panting and sweating staring at a tv show on the wall you're not watching because you are trying to come up with the next great drawing. Hey, you will lose and gain something at the same time. Good luck breaking the seasonal mood block!
