There are many festivities scheduled for the weekend of the 4th of July.
Here is a list of activities listed by town and city. Several celebrations include “old fashioned” festivities for families such as face painting, potato sack races, and plenty of live music.
The Triangle area is well-known for great music and a wonderful summer atmosphere. Pick your day, time and activity and have a wonderful Independence Day holiday.

Comment by Heather O'Sullivan (HeatherO) on July 3, 2012 at 8:41am I wonder how many people will go to the fairgrounds w/o knowing that the fireworks won't be there? Oh well, thanks for letting us know! :)
