Like Magic! there is the repost of my post in first place here on the page.
My point about comparing Facebook posts to Google+ posts was this: The world and the search engines see Google+ but only Facebook folks who are logged in see Facebook posts.
So where would you rather post to be seen online with your information and reach your potential customers??
I learned this truth about Google+ from +Jesse Wojdylo, in the Google+ Meetup group sponsored by +Nikol Murphy with +Mark Traphagen on Thursday at lunch. Then I posted about it that night. In the morning, Jesse sees it and reposts it . . . and amazing, it pops up on Google in less than an hour. Jesse has a lot of followers and has a good reputation with Google so the post is highly ranked and shows top of the page. This will not happen with every post of course. But this is an excellent example of how quickly Google picks up posted items on Google+, crawls them and places them directly on the search engine.
(Adding the + before a name is the way you post people's names on Google+ to give them credit for your plus one or vote.)
Now this is not a researched keyword phrase or anything. The more you do with carefully crafting your content and the more you manage your quality postings and build a Google Authorship reputation, the higher and faster you climb . . . and Google rewards you with being seen if you have useful information. Imagine doing this on a page you or your client really wants to be on in search . . .
Article marketing is the technique to use, or was, but now a second technique much like it is in play. For articles you can follow the circle of finding a good piece of information online. Then posting about it yourself. Then, building a relationship with the original content author and telling them about your post. Then they may also value your posting and link to it. This is how you will gain a quality article link online.
Now, if you build a Google+ world for your business, then you can perform the same wise high quality techniques for relationships and posting here that got you page placement with your articles.
Think about it. Witness the power of Google+!
