The Leadership Challenge

A little change in theme today…

This post is not so much about selling as it is about management — or leadership to be more precise.

The dictionary on my desk defines leadership as: (1) the position or function of a leader; (2) the ability to lead; or (3) an act or instance of leading. # 1 Top Thing Your Life Insurer Won't Tell You

I recently read an article from Smart Money and it was titled The Top 10 Things Your Life Insurer Won't Tell You. The very first thing was the one I found the most interesting. Here it is:

Do You Live Life with No Regrets?

We are on a family vacation in Mexico. Today we went on an excursion called The Mayan Snorkeling Adventure where our tour guides took a group of ten people to three locations to go snorkeling. At the second location, there was a cliff jump and a zip line going into the water of a Mayan sinkhole.

Mackenna’s friend, Devereaux was all about jumping and zipping…

Web Site Back Up Heads Up!

I recommend that you check to see what the back up policy is wherever you are hosting your site.

My site www.superheromusiclabel.com was up one minute and gone the next. Hostgator's servers where compromized - someone managed to wipe out every single bit of data from my hosting site. When I reported the issue Hostgator informed me that they would have to charge me $15 for restoring the site to the last back up. Surprise! Pretty crappy… Read More

Hold your nose, close your eyes (if you have to) but JUMP!

Have you ever stood at the end of a very high diving board or cliff, looked down into the water and knew that you just had to make the jump?

The Solution: One word — "bioremedial"

The word…

Google's Taking on Heat for Unfair Practices

I'll let the article stand alone, and am providing a link since a complete reprint is not allowed per copyright notice.

Google faces fresh fire over web reviews

Are Monitored Security Systems Worth The Money?

Today, with home owners trying to save money on expenses, the monthly service of their monitored security system sometimes enters this equation.
