The return of the music cafe

New World Coffee House has been around for 14 years. In the beginning, it was known as the music cafe. They sold CDs and almost every weekend featured live music. Since taking ownership of New World several months ago we've been focusing on getting the shop up to date and bringing back some of it's old glory that faded over the past few years.

Yummy Specials!

It's Sunday and just to celebrate the great weather New World has some tasty specials. We made a new batch of Red Pepper Hummus today which goes great with our crispy veggies and toasted pita points and its only 5 bucks! Plus, we put our chocolate cake on sale for a dollar a slice...doesn't get better than this folks. Huzzah!! It's Friday!

Finally, Friday has arrived. It's also the first Friday of the month, and to celebrate we're hosting a little gathering here at New World Coffee House. Complimentary wine will be provided by Wines for Humanity. Sample their selection and find out more about their cause.

Since our Grand reopening we have been privledged enough to have the art of Michael Nighswonger on display. Over the last few weeks Michael has been hard at work creating 4 new pieces which will be shown tonight.

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus!

Got a little bored at the shop last night and decided to whip up something new for the menu. We had a load of organic tomatoes from the farmers market and some beautiful cucumbers from Whole Foods so we decided they would make a good compliment to red hummus. It's a tasty tweak to our classic house made hummus with roasted red peppers and basil. Served on a plate with pita bread wedges and sliced cukes and toms.
