Granville County Habitat for Humanity Will Have Lunch and Dinner Fundraiser on February 12, 2009 at Taste of Fuji
Oxford, NC, 2/2/09 – On Thursday, February 12, 2009, Granville County (North Carolina) Habitat for Humanity (“Granville Habitat”) will be having a lunch and dinner fundraiser at the Taste of Fuji Restaurant to raise money to help build the next Habitat for Humanity in Granville County. Taste of Fuji, which serves Japanese food, is located at 1515 NC Highway 56 in Creedmoor, NC, just off I-85 at Exit 191. 10% of all sales for the day will be given to Granville Habitat. Starting at 7:30 p.m., Taste of Fuji will also have Karaoke. There will be drawings for prizes too.
“Granville Habitat hopes to show that decent shelter is needed for lots of people in Granville County”, said Mark Prokop, Executive Director of Granville Habitat. “We have many families that are living in terrible conditions here. We want to thank Taste of Fuji for partnering with us so that we can reduce the number of inadequate hous¬ing conditions in Granville County.”
