I am both happy and sad to announce that Geoff and I have decided to retire (in a fuller sense of that word than is now the case) and will be moving to the mountains a little over 200 miles west of Cary, when a log cabin with a lovely view that we have purchased there, has been made suitable for occupancy. N.I.M.B.Y.
I'm sure you have all heard of NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard)? We have probably all been guilty of it. Since moving down here, many of us have probably occasionally thought that we don't want to see any more growth. being a small business owner
I never thought I would or could start a small business. There are not countless small business opportunities I could have enrolled in at my age (having never really worked in my life --a retired husband, grown children) but to choose a route that makes me accountable every single waking day of my life from here on out, is uncharacteristic of me, at best!
