About my Business:
I help business owners and individuals figure out how they can take advantage of the changes in the economy and markets. I have a background in economics that helps me target business financial services to fit the owners current needs for business insurance, business capital, all forms of business financing, and employee benefit plans.
My work and teachings in technology and innovation are applied in my investment portfolio management practice, to help owners and families make investment decisions.
You can see more about my products and services at my online store at www.gabby-press.com or at www.businesscapitaladvice.com
About Me:
I have been writing about how technology evolves and how new markets emerge for over 20 years. My early writings focused on how and why North Carolina's economic strategy would not lead to sustained economic growth. I finally gave up on North Carolina ever changing.
Most recently, I have been writing about a business model that allows unemployed scientists and engineers to use online web-based tools to discover ideas for starting a company.
I spend a lot of my free time figuring out where to go fishing next, and if the fish are not biting, where the closest bar is.

My Ideal Customer is:
Small manufacturing company or start up firm that needs an outside, independent business financial advice on business insurance issues and business financing issues.
Owners and families who need independent investment management advice.
Any person, family or business that needs to implement an insurance strategy, especially one involving using insurance as a company asset to strengthen the balance sheet.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Other Professional advisors to small companies who need to help their clients by making a referral, without having to worry that I will steal their client or upset their relationship. Other business owners who know of a peer company that needs help.

The anti small business crowd hates any opposition to their well-entrenched political status and insider privileges to hand out tax dollars to corporate pets.

Beginning New Book. Equal Rights For All. Special Privileges For None: Principles of Government For A New American Democracy

Introduction

In the late 1880’s, an organization of American citizens, primarily farmers from the South and Southwest, recognized that the existing system of agricultural debt peonage was unfair. Because the banking system did not create money in the form of currency, the farmers did not have cash to pay for supplies. The debt peonage system allowed the farmers to enter debt contracts with wealthy bankers and merchants at the beginning of each growing season to borrow money to pay for seed and… Continue

By Thomas E. Vass, The Private Capital Market, Inc. tvass@privatecapitalmarket.com
November 7, 2009

Borrowing From Meteorologists On The Use Of Real-Feel Temperatures To Describe The Real-Feel Labor Market Misery Index

A common descriptive technique used by weather forecasters and professionals is to modify the actual ambient outside temperature by adding humidity. The result is a better indicator of what the outside temperature “feels” like to humans when they venture out.

The same technique… Continue
