About my Business:: Get Visual Business Solutions creates, hosts, and maintains websites. We create websites from "the ground up" and collaborate with clients to get the look, feel, and content they want. This also includes the use of blogs, Wordpress, specialized content, and specialized functionality. We also do graphic design and photography in conjunction with websites, and for print materials and signs as well.

We also have decades of experience working with geographic information systems (GIS) to create customized maps. Such maps can be used for graphics applications or can be a component of geographically-based demographic market research and analysis. This is coupled with decades of experience working with Census and other demographic/economic/housing data to conduct market research for virtually any area in the USA.

We aim to be customized, collaborative, responsive, and insightful with all of our customers. This means our imperatives ("must do's") are listening carefully, taking all of their input into consideration, being prompt and courteous regardless of circumstances, and offering helpful suggestions in throughout each project.

About Me:: I have 20 years of experience in government and business doing urban planning, market research, public relations, project management, and lots of working with people on projects of many different types. I've been working with computer graphics, digital photography, publications, and web content since the early 1990s.

I have a B.S. in Urban Planning from Michigan State University and a MBA-Finance degree from Marquette University. My longtime hobbies include brewing (yes, beer) and landscape photography. I'm a veteran of overseas active duty in the U.S. Army. All of these rich life experiences contribute in many ways to my work and relationships.

I came to the Raleigh-Durham area in 2010 after living many years in Michigan and Wisconsin. I'm amazed by the level and diversity of small business activity here and am energized being involved in the local "scene" particularly in Downtown Apex.

My Ideal Referral is:: A small business or community organization that values excellent customer service and excellent products, and also appreciates what a customized, collaborative approach can do for them. Ongoing business relationships and positive word-of-mouth are important to me.

My Ideal Referral Partner is:: Another small business that gets exposure to numerous clients over time, and can refer them to me for their web design, organic SEO, graphics, or market research work. I hope to be able to do the same for many of my referral partners.

I encourage you to review the 'Groups' page and join the"Business Networking In" Group for your town. This is a great networking opportunity to reach out, meet, and connect with others in the group. There may be other groups that interest you as well that you might like to join.
Also, make sure you’re showing up on our new Business Directory (the key is to make sure the category name used in the Directory is in the "About my Business" field on your Profile (click "Settings" to the right).
