Profile Information

About my Business:
I am a former high school teacher and current owner of Academic Development Group. We empower young adults with the skills to succeed. We focus on two areas:

First:

I own a private tutoring business where I contract with teachers that have a Masters degree or higher and teaching experience to tutor kids in high school and college in math and science.

Second:

Understanding the difficulties teachers have finding teaching jobs, we have developed an Academic Coaching Certification for people to create their own education jobs. We provide a blueprint for starting and sustaining a successful Academic Coaching business.
• Day to day content to run a five day academic success and leadership camp
• All marketing materials including templates forms
• Instructor and student manual
• Training by certified Academic Coaches and former classroom teachers
About Me:
I was born and raised outside of Buffalo, NY in Hamburg. I moved to Michigan for graduate school and fell in love! My husband and I have lived in Rochester, NY for 10 years before we moved to Cary. We love it here!!

I am lucky to have met Pat Howlett, the founder of Inside919. He is an amazingly brillant man. I am grateful for all his hard work in making this local networking site the success it is!
My Ideal Referral is:
Parents who feel their son/daughter could use help in school with academic subjects, study skills, organization or learning strategies.

Teachers, counselors, coaches that would like to establish and grow an academic coaching business.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Parents, teachers, guidance counselors.

Thanks for connecting! I am always happy to know people who come from Buffalo, as I lived there for 35 years, and still have children and grandchildren there. My oldest grandchild Carson turned 14 today and we miss them, just talked on the phone. Looking forward to see you maybe at Final Fridays..
