Will you commit to adding 1 positive item to the Network each month? (it can be a Question, an Answer, an INVITE or really anything positive)
Yes
About my Business:
I have a sports and athletic equipment business I run out of my home in Cary. Pierce Athletics sells equipment such as goals, bleachers, benches, fence covering and windscreen to clubs, schools, and municipalities. If you see some bleachers or the other around Cary I might have provided it!!
I'm also a Project Manager for a new Solar company based in Chapel Hill, Solartech South.
About Me:
30 years experience in sales, marketing, startups, and entrepreneurship. I also enjoy sports, travel, reading and the outdoors.
My Ideal Customer is:
Pierce Athletics-Clubs, School and Municipalities who use large athletic field equipment.
SolarTech South-Homeowners interested in lowering their energy bills. Solar Thermal has a payback of 4-6 years on average. After that a great deal of your hot water usage will be subsidized by the SUN, lowering your monthly energy bill and helping the environment. Businesses looking to be good stewards of the environment, and not pay so much on their energy bills.
The current Federal GRANT of 30%, plus the NC State tax credit of 35% combined with the NC Greenpower subsidy makes the PV Solar business model an ideal one for property owners or folks with land. The current average ROI for a Solar array is in the 10-13% range over a 20 year period with positive cashflow from the beginning!
Hi Stewart - it was fun laughing with you last evening. I wish you well and have you contacted AB Combs Elementary about the 4th grade curriculum? They'll be planting a garden in the spring and need solar power - its all about going green :)

Thank you very much for the support. I've had a nice reception in NC. The folks here are way ahead of the curve in helping their businesses GO GREEN. I look forward to hearing what you do.
I see you've met Carole Hoffman and I know her from the Leads Groups. She has been a great referral source.
thanks again,
Nina
