Yes.
About my Business:
Most people hear the term "social media" and run away. I'm here to let you know it's alright.

I'm a "social media consultant." Essentially, I help companies, small business owners, and individuals understand, plan for, and execute strategies in social media and marketing.

Remotely interested in the field? Get in touch. The first thing I'll do is listen--I promise. Let's explore how social media can help you.
About Me:
I am a recent graduate of Wake Forest University where I majored in Communications. In my five years as an undergrad, I developed a student-led market research and consulting initiative for technology companies, produced two seasons of a local television series, and earned a living teaching companies how to use social media tools.

I get excited about photography, tinkering with gadgets and technology, web programming, and playing guitar.

If you'd like to connect, please send me a friend request, but please be sure to include a personal message or leave a comment when you send your invitation. Thanks!

If you know you need to be using social media, but don't know where to get started, we may be a good match.

If you've got a good grasp on social media basics, but you'd like to learn some advanced tactics, we may be a good match.

If you're working on a long-term project and you'd like a social media consultant on-hand, we may be a good match.

If you represent a brand and you're considering developing a social media strategy, we may be a good match.

Inside919 is stale. Let's breathe new life into it.

Ladies and gentlemen, you've been presented an amazing opportunity. Over 2,000 businesspeople just like you with whom to live and to learn, buy and to sell, to lean on and to support. Shamefully, many of you aren't even logging on.

I check in on some of you who I find interesting from time to time and all too often, I see the same tepid profiles, completed in a hurry to figure out what inSide919 is all about and abandoned when their owners realized that the group wasn't the gold mine the… Continue

Using Twitter for the Job Search

Learn how to Use Twitter like a rock star to kick off your next career
I've met a bunch of really awesome, talented people this week and I've started to notice a trend. Most of them introduced themselves as being "between jobs." These are smart people with a long history in their fields, yet they're currently looking for work thanks to a slow economy. Many of them are turning to social media tools such as Twitter to find work.

Meet my new friends

I'd like to introduce you to two… Continue

Get Over Yourself

Why Social Media for Business Can't be Strictly Business

I've been blogging (and tweeting, and talking) a lot about social media for business lately, partially thanks to the fact that I've been up to my eyeballs in work and riding the beta brainwaves. I came across Michelle @TriangleB2B's post entitled Are you that friend that only comes arContinue

Using Social Media with "Guerrilla" Marketing

It's like mixing apples and oranges... But the results just might be delicious!

I was a marketing student in college--an experience that played a large part in my move away from marketing as a profession. As an undergrad, I ran simulations, perused dozens of case studies, and--by Jove--I got it. I was the kid that stirred up the hornets' nest with crazy ideas and blew strategy presentations out of the water.

At the same time, I was an active Continue

Officially moved into the 919. Time to start exploring!

Here's a personal note...

After a weekend of moving that seemed like it would never end, I'm officially a resident of the Triangle area!

I've been here a little over 24 hours and I've already met a few great people and I'm looking forward to many more. Reach out if you'd like to meet up to chat--I'm always up for some networking.

What are some spots in the Raleigh area (I'm near NCSU) that you'd recommend? What is your favorite out-of-the-way place to visit? Where can I get a good ice… Continue

Really enjoyed last night's meeting - picked up a few ideas as well as remembered a few. Happy Thanksgiving, Athena :)

Hi Rob...the reason I ask about which site is because I am the sole founder of The Referralist website- and co-founder of J2J. Depending on which one you are interested in, I need to plan around my partners schedule, if it is the J2J, to set a time to meet. Let's hook up after the Thanksgiving holiday and talk. Best, Jin

Rob,
Great job tonight at the #simplysocialmedia. It was great to see you and Martin. I learned several things - and have taken Twitter off my LinkedIn. Gave pause to the full throttle - time to really look at where I can improve how/where I present (i.e. represent Phoenix Massage).

You're fun to know - grateful you moved this way and we are treated to your knowledge!
Happy Droiding to you.
