I think one thing a lot of smaller businesses who sell hard goods/products struggle with online is how to drive people from their social media profiles (Facebook, MySpace, etc.) to their physical locations/ e-commerce sites. Usually when I sit down with someone who is interested in exploring the possibilities that blogs, social networks and other social media tools have to offer they listen politely. I hit my bullet points and share my graphs showing ascending lines of digital exposure and interaction. I can tell that a question is brewing behind their smile.
