About my Business:

I am a jill-of-many-trades. My current project is a culmination of journalism and dream mentoring. Ultimately, I am doing my best to better this world through media while utilizing an assortment of communication strengths.

In January, the first issue of a new, women's publication (intended for the modern, youthful, active women in the Triangle) will hit the stands in Downtown Raleigh and surrounding areas. The publication, which my team and I have titled PROTOTYPE, is original and chic unlike many of the women's magazines currently on stands. This magazine is designed to encourage women to break barriers and do things differently. Finally! Women who fall between the ages of 21-35 won't feel lost in the media-madness. This magazine will keep us all feeling young, sexy, and confident about our endeavors and pursuits.

Additionally, when not reaching out to women through journalistic media, I am reaching out to women in person. These days, everyone is a life coach. "The title is slightly amusing," according to Master Life Coach Martha Beck (who is a columnist for Oprah's Magazine). She refers to coaching as counseling or "life design". And so do I. I enjoy speaking to groups of women or individuals about areas of insecurity and uncertainly. I love encouraging women to dream and prosper in their areas of passion. About Me:

I am a unique woman with a lot of optimism and even more courage. I don't intend to ever take "no" for an answer. There are always doors opening to those who are brave enough to knock and I will never give up...or back down.

I was born in Houston, Texas and I've lived in the South my entire life. I love this area and I want to do all that I can to make 919 a more inclusive, youth-friendly area to live in.
