About Me:

Naomi Takeuchi is Founder and President of 1000 Cranes Business Consulting, a private consulting firm specializing in business consulting, strategic planning, and financial analysis for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She has assisted organizations through thoughtful business planning, effective communication and organizational development, and as a professional member of the National Speakers Association, she regularly presents to executives, board members, senior staff, and consultants nationwide.

Naomi serves on the faculty of the Duke University’s Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management and Advanced Certificate Program in Nonprofit Leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Genetics and Microbiology and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She specializes in strategic thinking and business plan development, assisting organizations in becoming more innovative. She is a member of the Kellogg Action Lab College of Consultants, the Social Enterprise Alliance and the Alliance for Nonprofit Management.
