About Me:

Entrepreneur and business development specialist with extensive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, IT, and many healthcare related areas of science.

My Ideal Customer is:

Clients of Shepherd Research have no geographic boundary; however, North Carolina is my home state and thus individuals and firms in NC and the southeast are highly valued as clients. Initial contact by a potential client is usually via the Founder(s), CEO, or VP of Business Development. Most clients are early or mid stage biotechnology, medical device, bioinformatics/IT, or healthcare focused firms with proprietary technology.
KEY SERVICES OF SHEPHERD RESEARCH:
-Business Strategy Development, including competitor and market analysis
-Establish and build relationships on behalf of client (local, national, international)
-Develop/refine the client's brand and presentation materials

NC at international BIO 2009 conference in Atlanta

Curious as to who might be going to BIO in Atlanta in May: http://convention.bio.org/
The focus this year is biotech, pharma, med device etc., and also on agriculture and "green" technology. Their tag line is "The 2009 BIO International Convention will help expand the biotech innovations that help heal, fuel, and feed the world.".
