About my Business:
Granville County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
About Me:
Christian Husband/Father of two children, I believe that everyone should help their community, no matter how small it may seem.
My Ideal Customer is:
Someone who wants to save lots of money on brand new building products as well as gently used furniture and appliances. Our Re-Store, which sells the above-mentioned items is located at 604 West Industry Drive (also known as the Oxford Loop) in the south part of Oxford, NC, off of Highway 15 in the warehouse district. We are right at the railroad tracks across the street from Ideal Fastener. We share our building with Carpenter Pallet.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Someone that believes that decent and affordable housing should be for everyone.

As a (financial) donor, what do you look for in a non-profit? Why do you give your money away? What needs do you have as a donor?

Please send me your ideas for Campaign Chairperson.

I attended the National Development Institute seminar titled "Raising Good Money in Tough Times" today in Raleigh. Now, who in/around Granville County can we get to be our Campaign Chairperson? We need someone that everybody says, "Yes" to (when asked to donate money). That's the person we need to raise $100,000 between now and June 30, 2010. Please send me your ideas for Campaign Chairperson.
