About Me:

I'm Marge [Cline] Carter, A Follower of Jesus. Born in Oak Park, ILL.
Have lived in IL, MD, MI, NY have traveled to many states in the USA and several countries in Europe.

I grew up in Hartsdale, New York, attended White Plains High School in White Plains, NY. Attended Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.

I am the middle sister with no brothers. The summer of 1954, at the age of 13 my Dad [The Executive Director of the AYH] took the family to Europe. AYH was having their annual conference in Saar, Germany. [That summer East Germany opened up for travelers] AYH is now called International Youth Hostels. Most people travel by bikes to different hostels, but today are allowed to come by car. An inexpensive way to travel if you are on a limited budget. there are many hostels in the USA.

I enjoy Most all Music except for hard rock. I especially enjoy 50's, 60's, steel bands, jazz, country westerns, classical, gospel. I like to sing, hum, whistle. Enjoy concerts, plays, ballets and musicals. I player in kickball, softball, field hockey, volleyball, but since I broke my ankle a few years back I participate in watching more than playing. I do bike.

I met my husband, Lee at a country western square dancing in Ossining, NY.
We have two boys each married to beautiful wives and each have a child. Making me a grandmother twice over and love it. I babysit our grandson, Corbin while both parents work five days a week. So keeps me busy on my toes and active.

Our family plays an important part in my life. Both of our parents have died so we are unable to be with them. My friends are from all walks of life: High School, College, Church, Shaklee, Inside919, Facebook, Twitter, Meetups, through my children, grandchildren and by just being a friend.
My husband,Lee and I relocated to Raleigh, NC in October 07 from Derby, CT a small town between Bridgeport and Waterbury, CT. We decided to take early retirement and move to a warmer climate as the winters up north are to long. I also came down to babysit my grandson and help educate him,teach him new skills,take him to parks,events,recreation facilities.

My Interests: Family, Church, Helping Others build a successful business. Photography, Oil Painting, Music, cooking from scratch, Social marketing, Social networking, Internet, Twitter, Facebook, Inside 919, meet-up, Walking and Biking.
