About my Business:
AnotherDaughter provides caregivers and adult children the help they need to find, coordinate and monitor non-medical services for the seniors they love.
We are the helping hand caregivers need. Ensuring that your parent or loved one receives the services necessary to live independently can be a daunting task: accurately assessing their needs and then finding, calling, interviewing, hiring and monitoring service providers and coordinating their visits. Fortunately, AnotherDaughter will do all the work for you so that you'll have more time and less stress.
AnotherDaughter works with caregivers all over the world whose parents or loved ones live in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area. We discuss in detail the level and kinds of assistance your loved one needs and then select appropriate providers from among a large group of highly-trained professionals, hire them, coordinate their services and ensure that your parent's changing needs are being met.
We've already screened these providers to be sure they are reputable and adhere to the highest standards of business practice.
Belonging to the "sandwich generation" is demanding and stressful. Sometimes, you need a break from the demands of care giving. AnotherDaughter understands and wants to help you get the break you need.
AnotherDaughter can help you claim the freedom to get away for a while!
About Me:
As AnotherDaughter's founder and president, I have a passion for serving seniors and an understanding of the challenges caregivers face in meeting seniors' needs. After more than 20 years in the financial services and long-term care insurance industries, I am well suited to provide non-medical services for seniors, aging parents and other loved ones who need help living independently.
Volunteering is a big part of my life. I volunteer for the Joel Lane Museum House, Hospice of Wake County, and Theater in the Park. I am Co-President of the Raleigh-Wake County Chapter of AARP, and am the Secretary and Treasurer of my homeowners association.
I love it when I find some peace and quiet time in my life so I can hang out with my sweetie. I have been married to Walt for 19 years. I have two sons, one living in Thailand and one in Denver and three grandchildren (the rest of the Thai contingent). Life is good!
My Ideal Customer is:
A member of the "sandwich generation" who is taking care of parents, children and trying to have a life for themselves among the chaos.
Also, many seniors have no children close enough to provide the kind of care needed. They need an advocate close at hand.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Anyone who works or knows seniors or their caregivers.

Hey Lesley, hope you can make it to the End of Summer "Social Hour" Trying to get a bunch of inSiders to meet each other offline. It's what I do :)
Hi Lesley! It was good to see you on Wednesday AM at the meeting with Nicole and Marcia. I hope we can also connect here at 919, as we both work with seniors and their families!
Hey Lesley! Its good to hear from you. I don't know if I'm going to make it tomorrow or not (although I really want to!). Its been a crazy month or so for me, but I'll be back really soon.
Thank you Leslie for your response. My partner and I will be at FFF this Friday. I don't know if you are planning to attend, if not, I will give you a call Friday afternoon. I look forward to our meeting.
Hello Leslie, Michelle suggested that I introduce myself to you as we have a similar business and in fact a similar business name. I would love to connect with you at some point. Have a great weekend.
