- About Me:
- I was born in Buffalo, NY. I Joined the Coast Guard after graduating from high school. I was stationed in Staten Island. I spent (2) years doing Ocean Patrol in the North Atlantic and (2) years working on the Base in Staten Island. After I was Discharged with a Honorable Discharge and a Good Conduct Metal, I met my wife, Marge square dancing in Ossining. We even Square Danced in Flushing N.Y. at the Worlds Fair. After our
wedding We moved to Long Island, NY where I had a job with the airlines. Our boys were born there.
Then we moved to Connecticut. As a private duty certified nurse my job was taking care of elders in their homes. (I enjoy helping others) My life was centered on my wife, and my two boys, Life was filled with joy, excitement, fun, church, being with friends and family. As my boys grew up and went their separate ways, each married. Our lives continued.
One day my wife and I sat down and discussed the possibly of moving south, I would retire from my Limo driving job, working 6 days of the week. To move south to be close to our youngest son. When we learned that we would be Grandparents in Dec. of 2007 we packed up and moved to N.C.
My wife Marge & I would care for our grandson while both parents worked. I drive for White Horse Part time and Continue to share Send Out Cards with everyone. I hope you and yours are having a good holiday season now! Weather's up and down. Yesterday we had more family visiting than ever before, both of our mothers and one of each of our brothers.
I see you and your wife have your own networking businesses. The greeting cards are neat. It's not a world I'm comfortable in, but I know its great for a lot of people.
I do internet publicity, blogs and writing - ghosting, editing, coaching, collaborating! My husband has a weekend photography business.
Here's to this new year! To the coming Spring!
