Yesterday I had a photo shoot with photographer Bob Gunter, who patiently took a series of pictures of me for the purpose of adding/replacing my profile photos on LinkedIn, Inside919, Facebook and other promotional sites with one that was more spontaneous vs. posed, maybe even unkempt in terms of my hair if the overall effect was right, vs. the usual posed, every-strand-of-hair-in-place variety I usually get. About my Business:: My website, www.seniorplaylist.com, is somewhat akin to an entertainment talent or advertising agency, in that it promotes those who provide programs as entertainment to residents of eldercare facilities to the Activities staff of local senior care facilities, who pay for such entertainment. List members gain exposure to a paying market for their skills from my promotional efforts on their behalf, but pay no 'cut' or commission to me out of whatever they charge for their program. It can also be used as a resource for event planners or those who offer party planning services, wedding planners, and others, who may also book entertainment from the site, as long as they do so with the understanding and expectation that the rates reflected on it are intended specifically for the more limited budgets of our primary target market. Therefore, rates charged to other types of venues may be higher than those quoted on the site.

About Me:: My husband and I moved here from OH in 1982. I have an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Stark Technical College in OH. My most recent position was as an Assistant Activities Director in a nursing home (4.5 yrs.). I am passionate about cats, waterfalls, helping seniors and the homeless, and giving voice to unsung talent.

My Ideal Referral is:: Entertainers, dancers, speakers, exercise/yoga instructors, and those who lead arts & crafts or have a demonstrable specialized skill (handwriting analysts, animal trainers, etc.); any senior care facility with an organized activities calendar, event planners, schools, community festival organizers, and other venues who hire entertainment. For speaking engagements/speech writing opportunities: Anyone who wishes to have their message delivered effectively on their behalf and/or written so they may deliver it themselves, with clarity, ease and effectiveness.

My Ideal Referral Partner is:: Anyone who shares my empathy for seniors, cats, and untapped talent in the community; those whose contacts include performers, speakers, artists, entertainers and event planners; and those who are uncomfortable with their own writing and/or public speaking skills and are seeking a public speaker or speech writer to effectively deliver their message for them.
