How funny that I found this tonight. I had just been talking with my husband the other night about how I am not afraid of failing. I am afraid of succeeding. I have a full time day job, which pays well, and the benefits are decent. BUT...I'm creat…

Yes
About my Business:
Wall 2 Wall Photography started as a "friends only" portrait business in 2007. Initially we did our shoots in the dining room of our home, moving the furniture out and the lights and backdrops in. After many word of mouth referals, we soon realized that was neither fun nor convenient, so we built a separate studio at our home last summer and have really enjoyed using it ever since. We specialize in casual portraits to bring out the best in our clients. Our portfolio consists of family portraits, engagement shots, and senior portraits. We have also done sports shots, corporate head shots, and special events.
About Me:
I am a portrait and landscape photographer who takes a casual and relaxed approach to portraiture. To make ends meet, I have retained my day job as an administrative supervisor. I am married and have four children. Two of them remain at home. I enjoy cooking, reading, my pets, and game time with my family.
My Ideal Customer is:
a satisfied customer! Yes, I know, that's probably a no-brainer, but customer service is something that I pride myself on. On the less obvious side of things, I am interested in photographing individuals, couples, and families that are interested in capturing who there are at the time of the session. After all, memories are made of this.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
someone who shares my ethics and honesty in business. I hope to network with other business owners that cater to families, individuals, and groups needing portraits or headshots. My current customer base is built mostly of young families documenting their lives in pictures.

For First Time Festival Vendors ~or~ Learn From My Mistakes

Today is Monday, May 11, 2009. Back the clock up a couple of days and that's where we'll start.

As some of you know, I'm vending at the Lucama Spring Fling Festival on May 16.

This is my first festival as a vendor. Ever.

I've been aware of this since, oh, I don't know...about early February, I think. Since then I've been selecting and obtaining art prints to show/sell at the festival. I have acquired show-packs to mat these images, as well as donated a couple of framed prints to the festival… Continue

Customer Feedback; Just How Important is it, Really?

Because I own a small business that has only been around a short while, I have found that I must find ways to generate business. Expensive marketing tactics won’t do it for me. I learned very early on that one must keep the business expenses quite separate from the household expenses, therefore, I cannot dip into the grocery budget to pay for that pretty postcard and the direct-mail campaign that comes with it.

I am lucky, in some respects, in that I have a “regular day job” that pays the bills… Continue

Now that I realize that it's Wall2Wall it's even better!

I am introducing a new program for entrepreneurs only called "The Next Highest Version of Your Business", which includes Branding with Archetypes and creating multiple sources of income from your existing products and services.
You can find out more by visiting http://www.nhvoy.com

I only work with individuals and small businesses who want to infuse their image with a little more 'soul' as well as put a little more income in the bank!
Talk to you soon,
