About my Business:

My career is in association management. I see associations as a way for individuals and businesses to access resources and have advocactes they could not have alone. Associations provide members with education & training; legislative and regulatory representation; networking opportunities at conferences and seminars and online; give discounts on products, programs and services; need to know information and access to experts in their field; and a sense of commmunity and belonging. They provide opportunties for leadership development and career advancement. Put simply, I help people succeed. My role is to find the dots, think outside the box to connect the dots and make things happen. 212 F. is the best way to describe how I work. At 211 F water is water. At 212 F. (just 1 degree higher), water becomes steam which can create energy to support progress. It is not often necessary to make major changes; when one or two degrees of change in the appropriate way can make a major difference in an organization, someone's life or attitude.

About Me:

Born in Western North Carolina, attended High Point University, graduated, BA in International Relations & Political Science UNC-CH although my career have taken a far turn from that area. Experienced scuba diver; active in rescuing cats with help from Parkway Animal Hospital and their staff. I love living in Apex and having access to all that surrounds us here.

Great backstory on that picture. I can tell you have a great passion for diving and marine creatures. This is totally off-the-wall, but have you ever read any of Clive Cussler's books? He is one of my favorite fiction writers and many of his stories take place in or around the ocean. Great books to pass the time!!
