About my Business:

I own Hagan Home Inspections, which is a one man show (me!). I love being a home inspector and am very good at it. I am a graduate from Purdue University Engineering School and have over 10 years of home building experience. I am very thorough and precise in my home inspections. The pictures you see are from an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in 2007. The awesome home building company where I worked for 10 years (Elite Homes of Louisville, KY) built the home for the Hughes family in 4 days. I was the planner the for home design, materials, and schedule. I then managed the construction along with many others for the 4 days. I did not sleep much that week!

About Me:

I turn 40 in 2009. Yea! I have a beautiful wife, Debbie, and awesome kids ages 6 (boy) and 8 (girl). I live in Holly Springs. I love golf and play as much as my schedule will allow. I also love the outdoors and my family and I like to go camping with our pop-up camper. We also love to gather with friends for parties, dinner, hanging out. I am from Louisville, KY and am a big Cardinal fan, but am becoming a NC State fan also!

Anyone buying a home!
Buying a home is the biggest investment you probably will ever make, so it's very smart to hire someone who knows how to inspect a home (like me!) before you buy.

I also have a nice inspection package for people selling their home who want to do a pre-inspection to ease any fears from potential buyers.

Remodeling without a building permit

Some of us like to pick up a hammer every now and then. I have done it myself. I finished off my own 900 sq. ft. finished basement years ago. Well, I did the framing myself and the tile work, but left the electric, plumbing, HVAC, drywall etc to subcontractors. I plan on finishing the 3rd floor attic in the home I live in now. So if you do something like this, do you need to get a building permit?

My primary interest right now is helping other owners and businesses lessees use their property more efficiently. If we offer available space to freelancers and other small companies in the form of micro-leases we can get our bills paid and create valuable energy.
