Profile Information

About my Business:
I am an independent life safety specialist, representing Safe Haven Security Inc license #2308 CSA , and Advantage Security Corp, NC license #1020-CSA. I am a one stop shop for all residential and commercial security needs. Under the services I provide, I represent the top security monitoring companies such as ADT, Vector Security, and use equipment providers such as Honeywell, GE and DSC. Customers no longer need to meet with multiple companies to shop rates. I show the customer the pricing of the major companies and let them choose the company that is best for them. Customers save time and money and get the advantage of 15 years of industry experience.

I provide customized home security systems that protect people for medical emergency, fire and burglary.
My personal mission is to protect good people from the bad elements of the world. I believe that everyday criminals wake with a mission lie, cheat steal and destroy. I wake with a goal to make sure that their next victim isn't you. With over fifteen years of security experience including manned security, electronic security installation, and security system design and sales I am able to provide my clients with expert analysis of their situation and create solutions that meet their unique needs. For me security is more than a canned sales pitch or slick marketing ploys, it is about educating, equipping and empowering my clients to have the safest environment possible and prices that comfortably fit their budget. I specialize in new interactive security technology that enables clients to control their whole house environment through a mobile smart phone app or internet browser. This includes the ability to control lights, temperature, door locks and security. When it comes to the safety of your family you need more than a name - you need someone with your interests at heart and that person is me.

As a life safety specialist I welcome the opportunity to speak to groups regarding personal and home safety. Such group include, homeowners associations, church groups, woman's groups, neighborhood watch groups, rotary clubs, civic groups, and business organizations.

Most companies train their staff to protect property more than the people that live inside the properties. My focus is to protect you as well as your property, because you can not be replaced.
About Me:
I consider myself to be a life learner. I enjoy reading, writing and self-development. My mission in life is to uplift, edify, inspire and protect people so they can reach their full potential. I am a graduate of Lynchburg College. I enjoy sports. My favorite Teams are UNC Tarheels and The Dallas Cowboys. I am most proud of the fact that I am a Christian, my family and the long term benefit my work has in the lives of others.
My Ideal Referral is:
Home owners that are concerned about protecting their loved ones and possessions. People just purchasing a home are ideal clients as well as people who either recently experienced a break-in or break-ins are occurring in their neighborhood. Someone opening a small brick and mortar business, third shifters, single mothers that have to leave their children at home for a few hours while they are away are also ideal customers. Elderly people with medical conditions and people that are fire conscious round out the list of ideal customers.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
My ideal referral partner are people that have continuing interaction with large groups of people. realtors, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, home health agents, police officers and fire fighters.

Realtor Safety when showing foreclosures and short sales

The current weakened economic market and the affe

ct on the housing market has created enhanced occupational hazards for realtors. Selling real estate has always been a job that could be considered high risk, due to the fact that realtors often spend time in unoccupied homes with people they do not know, which could make them targets of robbery, assault, battery, rape and even homicide. With the increased number of foreclosures and short sales realtors not only face the dangers from…

Doing what's easy isn't always what's right

Posted on April 16, 2009 at 10:32pm 8 Comments

Often the path of comfort and familiarity is the action people take, even when they know that it’s the wrong thing to do. Imagine seeing a crime occurring, do you call 911? The chances are that you will make the call because you are anonymous. However, what happens if you are required to go to court and finger the perpetrator? Does this change your willingness to cooperate? For many people it does. They have the perspective that not getting involved is their prerogative because it is not their… Read More

Domestic Violence, Home Security and Self Defense

Posted on March 31, 2009 at 2:33pm 3 Comments

Domestic violence is a horror that is experienced by 1 out of 3 women across the globe. Within the United States it is estimated that between 4 and 6 million women will experience an act of physical violence this year. These statistics are horrifying, because no person deserves to live under these conditions. Life is precious and every act of violence committed against women and children is an atrocity that should not swept under the rug. According to the research I have done anyone can be a… Read More

Good to meet you in person tonight, Jim! I was telling Anora, I don't know if it was just saying it out loud or what, but after the blog post, I wasn't nervous anymore. Plus, I hear it helped a couple people decide to come on out after all. So there we go.
