- Here at Essence, we believe that there is more to kitchen design than simply filling the room with cabinets. Every client is unique and brings their individual tastes to the table. Therefore, we strive to accomplish three main objectives: ensure that your new kitchen fits your wants and needs, is functional and aesthetically pleasing, while still maintaining your budget.
When we decided to create Essence Design Studio, we opted to strive for the best services and pricing to offer our clientele. Therefore, we chose to bring the showroom to you! Meaning that we bring cabinetry, counter top, tile, etc. samples right to your home. Without the overhead of a showroom, we are able to provide you more competitive pricing. In order to serve you further, we maintain excellent relationships with numerous vendors all over the Raleigh and adjoining areas. Therefore allowing the ability to take you to multiple vendor showrooms, if your project so requires. Furthermore, this ensures that we provide you with the best possible pricing and resources available!

- I am originally from Pennsylvania, where I attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. After a few years in the kitchen and bath industry in PA, and in order to further pursue my career and love of design, I moved to Raleigh in early 2008.
Since then, Rebekah Lindsey and I created our own Interior Design company. Our goal was to become independent entrepreneurs, and we could not be more excited about this new adventure!

Wow it really sounds like our businesses would compliment each other well. I used to work for a New York City Designer Sandra Valente. I used to do all her technical and shop drawings for her projects in the city.
