About my Business:
PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS is a social research and service organization based in Wake Forest, North Carolina. My For-Profit Services Division (FSD) was established to provide clear, written copy for customers' bottom-line business objectives. It is my desire to help socially conscious individuals develop services and programs that serve the common good. The FSD also serves as the launching pad for my independent writing projects.

I also operate a Nonprofit Services Division (NSD) that is being used to promote functional families through words and deeds. Services that I currently offer include educational seminars and workshops for parenting adults (i.e., P.E.D.A.L. University) and book reading tours/discussions (from my "IT'S GOOD TO BE GOLDEN" Children's Book Series) for children and youths.

Our Nonprofit Services Division is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Therefore, monetary contributions in support of PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS Nonprofit Services Division are tax-deductible.

If you would like to know more about my work, please contact me at (919) 604-4585. I also invite you to visit our websites: www.jefferyafaulkerson.com and www.practicalwritingeditingconsulting.com.

Be blessed, and continue to be a blessing.
About Me:
My name is Jeffery A. Faulkerson, and I am the sole proprietor of PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS. I am committed to providing socially-conscious individuals with the clear, written copy they need to meet their bottom-line business objectives. More importantly, though, I also seek to develop and distribute print and electronic media projects that encourage members of the global village to lead more purposeful lives.

I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) in 1991 and 1998, respectively. During my years of study at UTK, I also completed 24 credit hours of classes in Communications/Public Relations through the College of Communications.

My writing credits include feature and sports articles and columns published in the Kingsport Times-News, Daily Beacon, Knoxville Journal, Oak Ridger and MEOA News. Raising My V.O.I.C.E. (Verbalizing Orderly Impressions through Creative Endeavors), is my first nonfiction book title. I have also produced the first four offerings in the IT'S GOOD TO BE GOLDEN Children's Book Series, "The Stranger in the Shadows", "The Story of Henry the Heart", "Golden Innovations", and "Parental Expectations".

These titles are available for online purchase. A portion of all book proceeds support the efforts of PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS Nonprofit Services Division.

My passion is facilitating educational seminars and workshops for youths and adults that are rooted in my experiences as a social worker and nontraditional educator. For this reason, I have been called upon by media professionals to share my views about the issues of the day, especially those dealing with parenting and prospering.

I have been a born-again Christian for over 30 years, and been happily married to my wife for over 16 years. I am also the proud father to a five-year-old boy.
My Ideal Customer is:
Socially-conscious individuals in need of clear, written copy that helps them meet their bottom-line business objectives.

Parents who want to be more effective in teaching their children
how to build platforms for success.

Creative artists (e.g., writers, poets, illustrators, photographers, graphic artists) who would like to collaborate on print and electronic media projects.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Individuals who believe that change can be achieved through the creative expression of ideals.

Are CNN Correspondents Operating as Impartial Witnesses?

CNN's reporting of President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize is horrible. Their correspondents are projecting an attitude that contends he is undeserving of the award because he has only been in office for nine months. But how can a man be undeserving of the Nobel Peace Prize when his w… Continue

Can Married Couples Save A Fallen World?

Do married couples (i.e., one man and one woman) have the capacity to save a fallen world? I think so, but only if we use our marriages as vehicles for spreading the good news about Jesus Christ. We must always remember that marital relationships are representative of God's love fo… Continue

Hi Jeffery

I've been published through Atlantic Publishing but would not recommend them. Many of my friends have had great success with their self-publishing.

Tell me a little more about what you write!

Hello. Thanks for adding me as a friend. I like this quote
"Be blessed, and continue to be a blessing"

It reminds me that it is our job to give back, since God gave us so much.
