About my Business:

I'm a self employed massage therapist and RN. With 14 yrs. experience, I offer an integrated massage, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Reiki and Cancer Massage. My belief is that pain is the body's way of sending a powerful message to get our attention. A temporary "fix" is temporary. My approach is to get at the source, creating relief and release at the cellular level resulting in lasting relief.

About Me:

I have lived in Raleigh for 30 years, having moved from the Boston area. I'm happily married and have 2 grown sons, both living in Raleigh. Yes! Orginally I am a Yankee from Rhode Island

I love traveling, hanging out with my family, being out in nature, gardening, hiking, walking my Sheltie puppy, dancing, music and being alive. Volunteering is an important part of giving back to the community. I volunteer in my church, a cancer treatment center and at Cornucopia House in Chapel Hill.

My interest in working with people diagnosed with cancer is the result of having my own personal experience of 1 parent and 2 siblings who are no longer here. This dis-ease affects folks physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually.

I am passionate about preserving the environment and living "green"

My Ideal Customer is:

People who have been diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. This includes those who are currently in treatment as well as "survivors".
While people diagnosed with cancer are my primary interest, I am also very effective in working with:
Folks with: neck and shoulder pain, getting knots out and relieving tightness and tension
sinus and tension headache
stiff, aching joints
arthritis
fibromyalgia
insomnia
difficulty relaxing
