- I relocated to NC 7 years ago from Boston with my husband. Since then, we've adopted 3 children (now ages 8, 9 & 11) and have come to really love NC. I still miss the city and am still a die hard Red Sox fan, but I don't miss the traffic and I definitely don't miss the weather:)

- Ted Williams was still playing at the time (I am giving away my age) and he had just signed an endorsement contract with Sears and he was in the Sears in my home town (West Palm Beach, FL). I was in little league and did know who he was. I met him a second time 26 years ago in the Florida Keys.
