About my Business:
I've been in marketing and PR for over 20 years. My clients consider me "their go-to person" when they want to be well known, well thought of and well remembered. I provide the marketing research, promotional materials - newsletters, brochures, business cards, press releases, social networking assistance and gift incentives you need to get noticed and remembered!
As the owner of Batson Group Marketing and PR my clients cover a broad spectrum of industries – technology, health care, consumer retail goods and services, non-profits, publishing and literary; food and travel, and more.
About Me:
My husband Jon, (a performing songwriter, lyricist, author and non-fiction publisher) and I moved to Raleigh from Los Angeles in 2005. Though connected to "la la land" due to friendships and business we have made North Carolina our home.
Born in Baltimore and raised in Miami Beach, the town and cities I have lived and traveled to are like the Johnny Cash song "I've Lived Everywhere" - Coconut Grove, LA, Europe, Morocco, Greece, Turkey and the list goes on.
I graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with majors in education, theatre and English and a minor in journalism.
My career path has always had a creative bent - from clothing boutique manager, artist and gallery sales and management, commercial and residential interior designer, market researcher for a non-profit, to Director of Marketing for two software companies and more.
I have 5 grandchildren and enjoy my life here in "The 'Ol North State."
Additional projects I am involved with are: producing the Raleigh House Concert Series; partnering with professional animator Charlie Breakiron on his latest project – “ Check It Out! Photo” 3D precision cut photo sculpture and on the exec committee for Coffee and Contacts Women Helping Women Business Expo.
My Ideal Customer is:
Is an individual or owner of a small/medium sized business who understands, or is willing to, that press releases, social media and correct marketing collateral are key elements of a successful marketing strategy.
Hey Eileen! Great share today at Coffee and contacts! You have a lot of experience and good tips on social media! Valuable insight. Also, Amy and I are considering attending your blogging event at Meredith College! Great stuff!
I hope to visit someday soon. I will get a sub for my BNI group and get over to the Marriott. OR how is the track record on starting on time? Will it be an issue if I am a little late? I detest being late but would l love to visit your coffee and contacts!
Hi Eileen. I remember you from the Royal Bean! How exciting to see you now have a great new location. What ccareers are represented in your coffed and contacts group?
Eileen, It's nice to meet another marketing person on Inside919. I enjoyed reading your profile. Look forward to meeting you at some point at one of the Inside919 event. ~ Diogenes
