As a publicist and owner of Batson Group Marketing and PR I help individuals, small and medium-sized business be well known, well thought of and well remembered. I provide press/media releases, blogging and social networking assistance, as well as promotional materials - newsletters, brochures, business cards, and gift incentives. Remember "Promotion Resistance = Non-Existence."
As the owner of Batson Group Marketing and PR my clients cover a broad spectrum of industries – technology, health care, consumer retail goods and services, non-profits, publishing and literary; food and travel, and more.

- About Me:
- After growing up on the balmy shores of Miami Beach; graduating from the University of Florida (a family tradition); traveling solo through Europe; hanging out in "groovy Coconut Grove"; and then giving myself away to the corporate world in Los Angeles; I made my escape in 2005 to Raleigh with hubby Jon.
Upon our arrival we became involved in the Triangle’s music community. We served on the Board of Directors for the NC Songwriters Co-op for three years, produced and promoted their 10th Annual Songwriter Contest in 2007, The NCSC Summer Showcase Series in 2008 and the Raleigh House Concert Series in 2009.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Women’s Power Networking (WPN), am Co-Organizer of the Crabtree Chapter, and have an active role in their Annual Business Alliance Rally expo.
Nancy Bolts (Bolts Creative Communications) and I met through WPN and joined forces as "Think Ink – Writing the Right Words Right." We hold workshops and are asked to speak by various groups in the area.
Martin Brossman and Anora McGaha selected my chapter on public relations for inclusion in their latest book "Social Media for Business."
I live in Raleigh with my fabulous husband Jon Batson, an award-winning author, performing songwriter and publisher; have five incredible grandchildren and no pets - horse won't fit in the living room!

Yes, we've gone to a very inexpensive paid model and as we move forward I promise we'll continue to provide increased value.

Since it's quarterly you might want to at least give Inside919 v2.0 90 days to see what happens :)

Hey Eileen, just wanted to get you the latest update on the Membership Transition of Inside919.
The free Member option is simply not going to work out - with it I have no way to determine who is interested in being an active member and who is simply not checking their email or these comments.
Not requiring some sort of decision leaves us with the same problem I'm trying to resolve. I am sorry for the confusion I've caused.
