Yes.
About my Business:
I am the owner of The Storyteller’s Book Store of Wake Forest, NC. The Storyteller’s Book Store has been open since July of 2008 and includes an eclectic variety of books, author readings and storytelling events. Author readings, story time, The Storyteller’s Circle and other events are frequently held at The Storyteller’s Book Store. In addition, I am organizing a Psychological Memoir/Biography/Fiction Book Club, which will meet at The Storyteller’s Book Store in early March.
About Me:
I have been in psychiatric practice for 31 years, and it is finally time to get back to my English major roots. What better way than to open a bookstore. I grew up in western North Carolina listening to all those wonderful folk tales at home and at the barber shop.
I call myself an early career storyteller and I have two published books, Family Lost and Found and Stories from the Sunshine Mountain Valley: Tales for Reading and Ready for Telling.
My Ideal Customer is:
My ideal customer is someone who loves the written or spoken word, enthusiastic about books and writing, or just loves a good story.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
I am always looking for authors, writers and storytellers to have a book signing, reading or event at The Storyteller’s Book Store.

Hi Drew - Thanks for inviting me to give a reading/talk and have book signing at your bookstore. It will have to wait until after Christmas. I will call you about making arrangements.

Hi Drew,
I dropped off a copy of my book at Storyteller's today, but unfortunately I just missed you! Hope you enjoy the book, and I look forward to catching up with you soon. :)

Also - your store is awesome! Next time I visit, I know I'll walk out with quite a large stack of books. ;)

Morning, Drew:
Spent some time checking out all the happenings at your place! Wish I could pop by when you host the collection of authors from the high country, but that is our big WF Garden Tour day and I'll be mighty busy. I'll try and keep up on when the Storytellers Circle meetings are and attend one soon....

Great! Thanks for letting me know- I don't know if I will get there but I have been to one of their open houses and am impressed with what they are trying to do and the example they are setting for all the other medical schools. I forgot one, which is very important and you may already have: Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome by James L. Wilson. Many people are being treated for this with various pharmaceuticals which is further harming their health! (they gave me medicine for "ADHD" which further stresses the adrenals before I figured out on my own what was wrong).

Hi Drew! Thanks for asking me about book recommendations. Lets see. I could recommend many but these important books addressing different aspects of health and wellness come to mind. Eat for Health by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, The Mars & Venus Diet & Exercise Solution by John Gray, PhD, Hormone Balance Made Simple by Dr. John Lee, Amalgam Illness by Andrew Hall Cutler PhD, and Energy Medicine by Donna Eden. I look forward to coming to visit your store, sounds very interesting!

HI Drew! Yes, I am the sister of Patsy from Connelly Springs and Hildebran High School. It is great to know that you are in the area. I will make an effort to get to Wake Forest and visit the book store. What a wonderful thing to do for "your next career". Patsy is in Houston Texas working for Shell Corp. Her son David Hill got his PhD from WFU and is doing research at UNCCH. Her daughter, Pamela is living outside Houston, and is very involved in the Renaissance Fair, binding books and journals and raising her son. Thanks for making the contact. Hope to see you at a upcoming Inside 919 event.
My best, Jovita

Hi, Drew:
We actually met face-to-face at the WF Centennial Celebration! I am a member of the WF Friends of the Library Board and you stopped by our table and someone introduced us. Anyway... Thanks for your invitation to attend the Storytelling gatherings at your store. Not quite sure what sort of input you're looking for from me - but we can discuss it. I'll check out the dates on your website.
I'll also connect to you here on Inside919.
cheers,
Deb
