About my Business:
Our business consists of repairing and remodeling houses to increase value and appeal. Poor construction methods and lack of quality maintenance has plagued home owners with depreciating real estate.
We can help home owners who are trying to sell their home that may need repairs, as well as, new home owners that need things altered to fit their needs. We can also help real estate investors or property managers with maintenance and flipping.
About Me:
I am originally from the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. In 1985 I started working as a carpenter and had the opportunity to work on many estates.
I moved to North Carolina in January, 1999 to take a job with the Bethesda Fire Department. soon there after a demand for my carpentry skills were needed, and started my own home repair business, Custom Carpentry & Construction Inc. After doing repairs for four years my best friend and I decided we wanted to start building homes together and The Well Built House, Inc. was born.
In June of 2003 I got my NC Contractors License and we built several houses in the triangle area. Due to the bad economy houses were not selling as rapidly as they were previously. In 2008, we decided to put a hold on building houses for the time being.
As with everything, change is inevitable and I felt it is now time for me to reenter the world of home repair and remodeling. I figured, if people aren’t buying new homes then they may need assistance with making repairs and/or fixing up their existing home.
My Ideal Customer is:
• Home owners trying to sell their home and need someone to take care of "the list" of repairs that the home inspector found.
• A new home owner who would like some modifications done to fit their needs.
• A home owner who isn't going anywhere soon and want to keep their house in tip top shape.
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Real Estate Investors
