Who Will You be Supporting This Holiday Season?

Posted on November 25, 2011 at 8:00am 2 Comments

The holidays are approaching and the giant foreign factories are working away at making tons of cheaply produced goods for Americans to give to each other. Wow, awesome right?  Wrong....

Are You Being Spammed? I was!

I post a lot on Twitter, well more then some and less then others I guess. Yesterday I noticed in my email that all of a sudden I had a rash of followers coming on board.

I also like to re-tweet for others when their topic is helpful or interesting, and it brings more attention to them. I've…

Are You Dining Out Less Due to the Economy?

Posted on January 24, 2011 at 9:00pm 10 Comments

I was just reading an interesting article (link is below) stating that eating at home may be one of the few behavioral changes from the recession that will last.  Many consistent restaurant goers are now learning to love cooking due to trying to save money!

Former restaurant goers learn to love their ovens…

It's Great to Know People that Know So Much in Their Field!

I had some on-line training tonight with Katrina Harrell to get me over a few sticky spots in QuickBooks, and I just wanted to say how awesome she is.

We did a remote training on a sample set-up that she has on her computer. It was so helpful to be able to see exactly what she was saying. Every question I asked, she knew right where to go to point out the explanation to me!!

I would recommend Katrina - Your Simple Bookkeeper, Inc. - to anyone that needs bookkeeping services,… Read More

Do You Have a Story that People Remember You By?

Posted on November 21, 2010 at 8:26pm 2 Comments

I was recently at an event at the Raleigh Chamber where V.K. Fields was the presenter. Her company does many things, a few of which include marketing, PR, and copywriting. She also does quite a bit of volunteer work, along with teaching at UNC. I was so happy that I made it to this meeting, as she was so insightful on how to make a story out of everything. As she pointed out, if you have a good story people will remember you, even if they don't remember you name.

She calls herself a… Read More

Profile Information

About my Business:
As a Virtual Assistant, I work with a team of V.A.'s that specialize in helping Boomers create more time in their workday while saving them money.

Our V.A.'s have more then 25 years in the government and corporate business support fields to include IT help-desk, writing software instruction manuals, software training, social media, marking plan implementation, CRM's, internet research, creating office protocol and filing systems, along with general office duties.

We can maintain your social media networks, set up your monthly e-newsletters, maintain your calendar, update content/pages/photos on your WordPress website and much more, enabling you to spend more time on your company and less time in it.

We are very loyal to all of our friends and clients. Their best interest and their satisfaction is what is important to us. We take care of our clients needs as we would want ours taken care of.

It is our goal to bring the most professional services to all of our clients. We take care of their needs as we would want ours taken care of.
About Me:
I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. The town sets on one of the Great Lakes - Erie - and was an awesome place in the summer growing up. The winters are generally very severe there, with average snow falls of 80 to 100 inches many years. So when I had the chance to move to a "milder" area, I jumped on it as I had played in the snow enough!

When I moved to Raleigh, I decided to make a change and went into real estate. I enjoyed it very much and loved meeting new families and helping them find homes. But, after much thought, I decided with my extensive background in admin/IT and the experience I had accumulated in real estate, combining them would be the best way I could help others build their businesses.

So I started ColleensREVA. Raleigh's Elite Virtual Assistants that are here to help the Boomer generation of self-employed and micro businesses grow.
My Ideal Referral is:
Boomers who are self-employed or own a micro/small business that understand social media and what is falling through the cracks, but just don't have the time or desire to do it!
My Ideal Referral Partner is:
Small and Micro business providers and owners.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING...

“I had the pleasure of meeting Colleen at the first of this year. My partner, Lois LeSavoy and I launched a new enterprise ,The Center for Excellence, serving small business owners in the Raleigh area. As with any new venture there are a ton of important details that need attention. We found Colleen and she has been a life saver for us. She has helped us with our data base management, marketing and advertising, email campaigns, web site and our on-line calendar of events. Colleen approaches all of her work with a "can do" attitude and spirit. When you couple Colleen's professionalism with her creativity, you have a "jewel". If you need someone to assist you in carrying your business to the next level, I highly recommend contacting Colleen.”   ~

I can't say enough about Colleen's effectiveness and contribution to my business as a Virtual Assistant. Her level of expertise and professionalism is among the best I have seen. Very creative, proactive and responsive to all her clients needs. The best part for me is that once I communicated a strategy and direction to Colleen, she runs with it flawlessly freeing my time to focus exclusively on my clients. Colleen has done an amazing job on my marketing campaigns, especially in social media and I highly recommend her to anyone that wants to have the abosulte best in service!
