- About Me:
- I grew up in south FL when the Dolphins played their historic undefeated season. Transplanted to NY where I fell in love with NYC, Broadway, Museums, Theater in the Park, the Arts, and my lovely wife (met on Long Island in High School & reconnected in college at SUNY Stony Brook). We've been happily married since 1983. I relocated to the Triangle in 1996 and absolutely love it here!
Folks have been asking about my camo theme, its related to the SEO tools I use (Scout, Sniper & Recon), having a son and son-in-law in the Army, and due to my love for the outdoors. I love the beach, hiking and camping.My career has mostly been a technical one after graduating with an Electrical Engineering Degree. I had a short stint in the USAF in Austin, TX. Then 17 years (10 in NY) with Underwriters Labs (UL) as an Electrical Safety Engineer & QA ISO 9000 Lead Assessor. Three yrs as a part-time Quality Manager with Laser Product Safety in Cary. And, 8 yrs as a Realtor in between. 
Oh, and by the way, I'm an aspiring Artist who comes from a line of artists (grandmother, uncle, etc.). Check out my meager beginnings at Bob Walton, Artist by Design. In a sense, I am a starving artist; I love painting, but am starved for the time to do more of it. ;-D
