Hi!
I just got a bunch of yard signs advertising my baby sign language business and I need some really good spots to put them! Does anyone have a good idea? I would like to advertise to young families with little ones!
Thanks! I'd appreciate any i...
No worries, I'll keep you posted if there is something in the evening. Otherwise if you want we could grab coffee sometime after 4 one day. What days are usually best for you?

Hey Emily, sounds great. Actually, if you wanted to meet some other small business owners from the Cary area and then speak a little about what we do before or after you could come out to my networking group Thursday. We meet at 8:30am at Hope Community Church on Buck Jones Road, which is on the border of Cary/Raleigh. Let me know if you are interested, but I figured it would be a good way to give you a little more exposure in the community.
Emily, I love your website and your business. I would love to meet you soon.

Hi Emily, great business that you have started. I would not mind brainstorming with you sometime, because I'm in the process of finding similar "Ideal Customers". However, for completely different reasons. I want to put some extra effort in the education saving side of my business with so many young families in the area. Most of the business I've been doing is helping people of all ages with retirement issues and working with people that are self-employed making sure they are taking advantage of all the benefits the receive. I'm not really trying to pull away from that, but really just focus a little more on a layer that has been neglected. I hope you are still enjoying living in the south by the way!
Wonderful! I'll do a link to your site on the handout I give them. I partner with Rex Hospital and so I now offer the class onsite at their Women's Health Center (formerly known as the Family Birth Center). I just love it and working with the expecting mommies on the emotional transition into motherhood is wonderful. Just scheduled the class for March and April.

Hello Emily, thanks for the connection. Hope you are doing well.
Hi Emily!! Thanks for the friend request! I love what you are doing - and I would also love to place you as a resource for the class I teach for expecting mothers. Would you be ok with that?
Also, are you on Twitter? I just started it myself, actually, and am enjoying it quite a bit. It might be beneficial for you.
Looking forward to getting to know you more - by the way- from where up north are you from? I'm a former Buffalo/Ellicottville gal myself. :) Talk soon!

Baby Sign classes sound awesome. I've seen some children who use it and it is fun to watch...what a way to communicate before language skills are developed.
You are certainly welcome to come and check out my space. I rent out the Blue Room to Jammin' Baby every Thursday from 5-6 but lots of other times are free and there is also the Green Room.
Will you commit to adding 1 positive item to the Network each month? (it can be a Question, an Answer, an INVITE or really anything positive)
yes
About my Business:
I am a Certified Baby Sign Language Instructor. I use the Baby Signs® Program and I just love it! I became certifed in December of 2008 and just really started my business! I teach sign language to babies and their parents through workshops and play classes.
I can also train child care centers and make them a certified center through the Early Childhood Educator Training (ECE).
The program helps babies communicate before they can talk which decreases frustration! There are many benefits to baby signing, just check out my website!
About Me:
I am originally from up north, but came down south about 6 years ago to teach. I taught for 5 years, then had my son and decided to stay home with him and tutor some nights. I got involved with sign language when a friend mention I try it with my son...which leads to my business!
My Ideal Customer is:
Parents with children ages 0-3, Expecting Parents, Child Care Centers, Preschools
