@Sarah - as I understand it (the "gurus" in this group will have more in-depth content to add here) the framework for Wordpress is very SEO friendly, but that is only part of SEO. A plug-in I use for Wordpress is All in one SEO, which was suggested to me by Eric Erikson at Lizardwebs Computer Services. He has been "showing me the ropes" and is successful at getting the websites he makes at the top of SERPs. Again, that plug-in only adds another part to SEO. There is more - and Bob Walton briefly touches on this in a comment below ours. I am sure you can find some articles written by him which provide some more on-target information.

For future reference, I think we are supposed to ask these kinds of questions in the Discussion Forum above, by clicking on "+Add a Discussion" link, which is at the bottom of the Discussion Forum - as mentioned by Stephen Peacock in a comment below.

Also, I noticed that you posted a question last year about image maps. How did you end up making one? I made one on the homepage for Full Circle Recycle It was my first one and I think I may have done it the hard way.

Regards,
Greg Borchardt

Hey Davis, SEO Plugins only address some of the on-page SEO factors for optimization. Once those are fully addressed, there are many off-page factors that many times trump on-page elements for what search engines deem as most import. Give me your top keyword for your website, and I'll run you an analysis for you. Bob

Hey all,

I'm new here and am open to learn from others. My most recent WP site was for a Raleigh swimming pool contractor. The template was from SimplePress.  I thought the end product was clean and professional looking.

I'm also working on a real estate site using the AgentPress template, but will wait till I'm further on to share more.

Can anyone share their experience(s) with how user-friendly WP has been for their clients? If a client does not do frequent updates to their website, are they calling you for a refresher course on where to find things etc? Or possibly asking you do to do the updates? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Thank you so much for offering your help Ryan. Would it be OK to call you in the morning. What is the best way to reach you. My email is paulina@pretinc.com and # is 919-255-8586
Thank you again

@Paulina, can you share your site address? To restore a previous version I'd look to the "revisions" area at the bottom of a edit post/page area to see recent versions. Typically, you can select a previous version and revert to it.

Hello Everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful 2011.
I have a quick question, that I hope I can get some help with. When I am logged on to my WP site I can see everything I have entered in a specific site, as I want to have it show up. But when I pull up my site I only see the tiles. How do I restore a previous revision. I have tried to to do it several ways. If anyone has any advise I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you ;)
