VA get-together

Hello,
I'm new to the Raleigh area and new to the VA business (although I've done administrative work for years!). I'm anxious to connect with other VA's to help get a feel for things in the VA world.
I don't want to steal anyone's thunder so if there's an already-established way to initiate a get-together, please let me know. In looking through past discussions and postings it looks like some VA's have met in the past. Any interest in this happening again? Let me know and I'm happy to begin coordination of such a meeting. Thought it might be a fun way to meet people and begin future relationships.

Hello Susan,

Welcome to Raleigh and the VA world. Angel Lebak is the group leader for Virtual Assistant in the 919. However, she has moved back to her hometown in NJ. It is my understanding that Angel will be visiting Raleigh quarterly to stay connected with clients, friends, and colleagues. Perhaps, you can reach out and connect with Angel to see if she will still be leading this group.

I personally would love to have a VA-Get-Together monthly. A few of us got together several months back, which was a lot of fun. It was enjoyable on many levels. We shared our knowledge and experiences, and we learned a little more about what makes each of us tick.

Once again, welcome to the VA world. Hopefully, we'll meet each other soon. In the meantime, if you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out and connect. ~S
