We are fostering a really cute puppy named Haven. Haven is about 15 weeks old. She is playful, great with other dogs, and she likes to be cuddled. Haven is a pretty good listener and seems intelligent and very trainable. We are still working on the house training thing, but she is getting there. Haven is available for adoption through the
Best Friends Pet Adoptions.

Comment by Sherry Brink on April 19, 2012 at 8:40pm I just started working for Ark Angels Pet Care. I had the fantastic "job" of caring for three cats. How much more fun can a "job" be?!

Comment by Kelly Larson on January 24, 2012 at 9:55am Pat and Michelle do a wonderful job as foster parents and have made a huge difference in the lives of so many dogs and puppies! Being a foster or a temp foster is a great way to get your dog or puppy fix without making a long term commitment. We also rescue cats and kittens too, if you are more of a cat person!
Dennis, I look forward to connecting soon. The first part of this week is very busy for me, but I will try to give you a call Thurs or Fri if that works for you. Thanks!

Comment by Pat Howlett on January 24, 2012 at 9:49am With the help of Kelly Larson, my sweetie and I became "Foster Parents" last year - we are currently caring for a young hound (sweet girl) and have taken in something in the area of 9 dogs and 11 puppies.
It is a great opportunity and very rewarding and I recommend anyone interested should reach out to Kelly.

Let's connect soon, as I believe our organizations can be a great benefit to each other. I am most easily reachable by phone at 919-981-7406. I look forward to meeting you. Best regards, Dennis

Comment by Kelly Larson on January 23, 2012 at 2:08pm Hi Dennis,
Thanks for creating this page! Pat Howlett is a neighbor of mine and suggested I connect with you. I am president of the Franklin County Humane Society, a volunteer group who rescues animals from local county shelters in Franklin and surrounding counties. If anyone is interested in helping out our cause, we are always looking for fosters and volunteers in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Youngsville, Franklinton, Louisburg, and the surrounding areas. Our website is www.fchsnc.org. It is great to see so many pet lovers here, my husband and I have three dogs and a cat and they are our babies!
