Hi. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Diane Moore.

I am the Founder of a nonprofit organization called Striving for More. I created this nonprofit organization in response to a gap in our health care where the emotional and spiritual needs of children with cancer are not being properly addressed.

Sadly, this realization came to me while on the journey of my own daughter's death from cancer last year. However, the source of my pain has also provided me the motivation, drive and passion to improve the situation so other childed and their families have better experiences than we did.

Striving for More will provide funding to hospitals so they can provide psychosocial care to kids with cancer.

I live in the area and I recognize that being a successful entrepreneur (social or otherwise) is all about networking. I am currently looking to augment my Board of Directors (please look at my profile for details) and for business interested in being corporate sponsors.

I look forward to making connections through this group.
