For all you dog lovers out there! The Wake County Animal Shelter hosts the 10th Annual Mutt Strutt Dog Walk on Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Historic Oak View County Park in Raleigh.

My friend Paige Burris of The Positive Canine is just one of the folks giving free demos. Her Raleigh-based dog training service, will offer dog training tips. Paige will also have pit bull jewelry and custom jewelry for sale, with some of the proceeds benefiting local pit bull rescue. Paige's dog Cricket, pit bull extraordinaire, will be there to show off the positive aspects and the versatility of the breed.

Fun will be had by all, as dog lovers will enjoy exhibits, demos, baths for their dogs, Rabies shots at $5, and Microchips for $10. Over 60 vendors will be there, so come join the fun!

My friend Natalie is looking for folks to adopt a cat. Her 86 and 91 year old cousins are having to move from their home and have many "barn" cats from new born and up, from tame to almost feral. If you would like to adopt a cat or foster a litter of kittens, please let me know and I will forward your note to her.

I adopted three beach kittens this winter and cannot begin to tell you how much joy they have brought to my home! All three are totally indoor kitties now and they were several months old when we rescued them.

Yea, my lost cat has been found! She's down the street at another house. I think I will let them keep her, since she didn't like being here with her baby, once she had quit nursing. I am so glad! I was looking and looking for her, and worried. Thank God she's ok!

Our 2 year old cat, Bailey has disappeared on Monday morning February 16th from 1538 Hemphill Dr in the North Ridge Villas. He's very friendly, large, with large eyes, see photo...please call 919-744-1959 if you've seen him..
