I am going to use recycle projects for collecting fund for school. Please share any idea that you may have. All fund would directly go to school. Thanks in advance.
When I was a 3rd grade teacher our school wanted to really start to recycle plastic, so we bought bins, cut a hole in the top (the size of a water bottle) and had the kids decorate them. If you wanted to, you could have the kids decorate them, then have people make a donation for one of the bins or something! I'm sure parents would love a recycle bin decorated by their kids. I don't know if this is the kind of idea you want! GOOD LUCK!
Thanks and I am trying to collect all the ideas then present to the school and it does need to have RIO report doing such a project. Thanks again for sharing.
Stephanie - Here's an idea that might work well. Have the kids gather old socks from friends and family members and bring them to school. We will collect them for recycling. The idea would be that each person who is sending in their old worn out socks for recycling will purchase a new pair of earth friendly organic Sierra Club socks (my company manufactures these socks and they can be purchase on line). For every pair that is purchased by friends and family members, we would donate 20% of the proceeds to the school for their fundraising. The Sierra Club gets 10%, and we will also donate one pair for each pair purchased to the National Coalition for the Homeless. We can set up a special code on our web site http://www.sierraclubsocks.com where they can simply order their socks and enter a special code. This code will let us know that it is part of the fundraiser and we would then send you a check and a list of all the folks who purchased socks. Check out the web site and the socks and let me know if this makes sense. ~ Diogenes
