Event Description

2013 is the year of the Insider. I intend to launch several of our Sister Networks and will be doing more to bring visibility to the networks and our Insiders.

So, we're firing up the ol' radio show and a new segment will be. "You've got 5 minutes" in order to help the most folks I can.

Here is how it will work...

10 Insiders will have up to 5 minutes to share (via Questions) information about themselves and their Business.

They will then be able to download the shows audio file and use it in other places to help increase their visilbity and reach.

We will also be promoting these segments both on BlogTalkRadio and internet properties we own.

The 1st 10 Insiders who post below will be invited to be on the show. I'll contact each with details.

The only way we'll discontinue this is if it does not help - so look for the next scheduled "You've got 5 minutes".

Hello GUEST, tell me a little about yourself, your business, why you decided to get into this business, who is your ideal client/customer and whats the best way for someone to contact you*?

and then... I'm going to let you go on a rant.

You'll have 5 minutes and if we need to fill in time I'll ask a question about something you said in your answer.

The point here is to have less me and more you - you've got 5 minutes.

*Saying Inside919 will be one of the good answers since we'll be promoting this to all the Inside Networks.

Comment by Pat Howlett on January 7, 2013 at 3:39pm: I really appreciate all the comments and emails I've received - interestingly enough we got some contacts from listeners outside919 - some folks seem to have found us and turned in - which is the objective.

SO... I want to test a different format this Wednesday the 9th.

SIDE NOTE: we had 40 live listeners this morning and already have 17 archive listeners.

Comment by Pat Howlett on January 7, 2013 at 2:17pm: @all, really appreciate the participation - Yes we'll do it again next Monday. However, I truly want to get more folks involved so might add another show time.

I can share that it will have to be a different format since we're going to start inviting Insiders from other Inside Networks (NC, LA, FL and RI).

I also think it will go the way of a straight out "call in" show with... 1st call in 1st interviewed. I found myself wanting to click on the other callers who had called in and learn more about them :] - I'll block out more time in future shows just in case we need it.

My thinking is that after a couple of shows the right way to do it will become self evident and then we'll be set going forward.

I kept waiting for you to call in so I could bring you up - the show was not set up for me to call guests - you'll be on a future segment.

I WILL be doing this a little differently next episode (which will be posted later today) as I'm still learning myself.
