On January 31st, 2013, our featured speaker will be Martin Brossman! The topic of Martin's talk will be: "Understanding how to properly use endorsements and recommendations on LinkedIn to enhance your business."
To RSVP, please use the Meetup link: http://www.meetup.com/Triangle-Lunch-Talks/events/87905382/
LinkedIn has now upgraded the skills and expertise feature so that you can easily give endorsements to people. Have you set up your skills so it is easy for people to give you endorsements in the areas you are an expert in? Do you know what you can learn from the endorsements people are giving you? Are you being proactive with endorsing others?
Endorsements are different from the recommendations and have a different purpose. We will go over what they are all about so you have a clearer understanding of how giving and receiving them can be beneficial.
MEETING LOGISTICS
Lunch is $12 (be ready to pay at the door). Our lunch talk meetups run from 11:30 to 1:00. We will have open mingling and networking from 11:30 to 12:00.
